I should probably post this publicly somewhere...  
But since I don't know where, just tell all your friends who might care.

Anyway, here is how it works:

My brother was in the PS2 beta test for Final Fantasy XI, so he got it for free. They made him send his beta copy back and sent him a brand new one, hard drive and all, with a free month. Problem is he can't get it to work without screwing up all of our various connections. So he's selling it for $80 ($20 off the shelf price) or $40 and a copy of FFX-2. This is essentially a brand new copy, opened but never used, with the hard drive included (and completely empty. My brother formatted it again just in case), with the free month (it's $10 a month afterwards), a $110 value for $80, or $40 and a used game. Comes with all the original packaging (including the really pretty box) and books and even some of the original wrapping.
