Small Law & Order: SVU Rant
I hate Stabler/Benson. I hate it a lot. And I hated tonight's ep. If they become canon, I will so stop watching. I know it sounds petty, but it will officially have entered a realm that L&O shouldn't enter. Even if it's not L&O proper.

Stabler/Benson . . . makes me cry.

TEARS OF SORROW.

(And it takes a lot in the L&O universe to make me cry.)

S/B also makes the baby Jesus cry.

Wait, wait... S/B HAPPENED?! *spits out drink* You know they've run out of one liners and loopholes when they've admitted to S/B. *sigh*

I guess it's a good thing that I watch SVU for the realism of the crimes and Munch.

Yeah, it did. First, Stabler let a little boy die because Benson had her throat cut. Not slashed. Just nicked a little. She even told him to go away. Then Benson couldn't shoot a suspect because she might hit Stabler by accident, even though the guy had Stabler at gunpoint. It ended with Stabler telling Benson they shouldn't be partners because the only two things he has are her and his job, and he doesn't want to choose between them. So Benson asked for a new partner. I know it's just an excuse to get rid of Benson while Mariska has her baby, but still. Double-yew-tee-eff.

Aaaah! And I thought the new episodes were getting BETTER! That... I'm glad I wasn't aware of that episode and didn't watch it! The whole 'Stabler letting a kid die over Benson's papercut' just rubs me the wrong way. Stabler's all about the kids and he leaves the victim's side to deal with Benson?! That's either canon rape or twu wuv... or BOTH! x_x

It's only going to get worse when Olivia comes back when Mariska can come back to work. How are they going to explain Stabler's new partner and all of that other stuff away then?

*prays for a Munch episode to make herself feel better*

I agree. I'll stop watching too, and it's one of my favorite shows.
