I went to a Bangor Outright meeting last night, which is the first GLBT meeting that I didn't put together that I've been to. Only seven people came, which was kind of sad, but last night's topic was, coincidently enough, transgenderism/transsexuality, so I ended up doing a lot of talking/answering a lot of questions. I think I kinda fascinated the woman who was running the meeting. :P

The downside is I ate something bad before driver's ed, so I had a splitting headache starting before driver's ed and ended up sick as all hell by the time I got to the meeting. I hid it pretty well, then came home, puked my lungs out, and passed out. I still feel like someone smashed my head in with a hammer. So glad I still have 800mg ibuprofin from my dentist (from when I had my wisdom teeth out last year).

So I'm new to your blog (or newer than most people) so forgive me if I ask an ignorant question, but are you transgendered? I've read your journal for a little while and don't remember you ever saying so outright (but it's entirely possible that you did and I was distracted by a bright shiny object, so I missed it).

I'm an ftm transsexual. I talk about it in my LJ profile. I'm also an outspoken advocate for gender issues.

It would probably help if I read people's profiles. I tend to just read their journals, think, "Wow, that person can write" and then add them. I probably have some axe murderers as friends as a result.
