What you must buy: Edy's (or Dreyer's. Both make it, apparently) Slow Churned "Take the Cake" ice cream. It's one of their limited edition American Idol flavors (although it's winning their poll by a wide margin, so I hope that means it's going to stay), and it's yellow cake ice cream with blue frosting swirls and rainbow sprinkles. It sounds nasty, I know. I thought the same thing. But it tastes like frozen cake batter if GOD were making the cake. And because it's limited edition, I'm stockpiling the shit militia style so in the event of an apocalypse, I won't die of my yellow cake ice cream withdrawal.

(Yes, keristars, I know you tried it and didn't like it. Yes, you are the only one.)

I also thought that sounded good... but could not bring myself to eat "light" ice cream. So I got Dean's "cupcake" flavor, which was similar, except with chocolate frosting and chunks of yellow cake mixed in. SO GOOD.

I've had decent low-fat and "light" ice creams. Healthy Choice isn't bad and neither is Weight Watchers. The "light" doesn't scare me off as much as the mix of flavors does.
