Uh Oh...
You know, there was a time when I never talked about my dolls on my personal LJ. It was a time not long before the Doctor Who fans friended me. Sorry, folks, don't know what's come over me.

Anyway, yesterday, Liz's legs decided to suddenly give out. Seriously, happened in the middle of the night. She was just standing there and she fell so loudly it woke me up. I stood her back up, a little later found she had taken another header. So until she can get restrung, she has to sit down.

So I started reorganizing my room. Here is the real uh oh. My main reason for not getting many more dolls (other than the price) was that I lack the room for them. Well, after reorganizing my room, I found I have room for 3-7 more dolls. One space is going to be taken by Rose, and I may just fill in the last two spots on my stand and call it good. Still, I can hear my wallet sobbing...

Poor Liz. :( That's so weird that her legs would just spontaneously give out like that. Did the elastic cord just snap or something?

Neth said the same thing happened to Naomi (when I was telling her about it last night), so apparently it's not unprecedented. Poor girl just wouldn't stand any more.

solution: don't let her drink so much.

sorry I didn't call you last night :( by the time I got home, it was almost 9 and I was SO ready for bed. Lame, I know...but it keeps me out of trouble.
...I think. I was beleaguered by some very *weird* dreams. Dreams that I should *not* be having!!!!

IF I remember, I will call you tonight...

Same thing happened to my Lindsey. One day all of a sudden, she just needed a wheelchair, her legs went from stable to being almost detached.

I think the ferrules and the elastic cord just gives out for some reason; more than likely its the tension going out all of a sudden.
