And in a refreshing change of pace...
...the Brits are adapting an American show to call their own (yes, I know, not the first time, but considering how often we adapt their stuff we owe them one). Law & Order: London is going to be premiering this year over the pond, and I'm actually quite excited about it. It has the writer who wrote the few Torchwood eps I like (and the one I absolutely can't stand), a few Life on Mars writers and directors, and they'll be bringing in a writer or two from the American series. Seems to be shaping up well, but I'll try not to get my hopes up too high for it.

Methinks I need to do a "Lawyers With Great Boobs" picspam, between the various L&O series and the Ace Attorney games. I shall call it "D-Cups...FULL OF JUSTICE!". Yeah, I'm a pig sometimes. Back to playing/capping obsessively from Elite Beat Agents (if you have a DS, do yourself a favor and get this game. I got my copy for $15 at Wal-Mart with a DS case, three extra styluses, and a cleaning cloth. And not only is it insanely addictive and fun to play, but with the exception of one level, it's absolutely perfect if you've been feeling down).

DOOM-LADEN VOICE OVER: In the criminal justice system, the people... okay, the Crown... is represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the police, who investigate crime; and the CPS, who prosecute the offenders. These are their stories.

MCCOY: He was taking photographs of tube stations? Obviously suspicious.

BRISCOE: He claims it was for Wikipedia. There is a First Amendment, Jack.

MCCOY: Er, no, not here, there isn't. And besides, he's Brazilian.

BRISCOE: Oh, in that case shoot the bastard.

Now I'm going to be pronouncing it with a really overdone accent and rhoticizing it: Lawrh and Ohhhdah.
